This blend is formulated with all elite varieties. Some are A-LIST approved & TWCA qualified. That means they have been developed, tested, and selected for lower inputs. Therefore, expect to use less water, fewer chemicals & pesticides, and less fertilizer. These varieties exhibit greater heat tolerance.
SEEDING RATE
New Lawn: 3 lbs/1,000 sq. ft. or 150lbs/acre
Overseeding: 1-2 lbs/sq. ft.

NOTES ON KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS
- Kentucky Bluegrass is the most popular type of lawn grass in the Midwest.
- Proprietary bluegrass varieties are deep green and beautiful.
- Plant bluegrass alone or mixed with ryegrass, creeping red fescue, or turf-type tall fescue. All will provide an excellent lawn.
- Bluegrass does, however, take the most maintenance of any turfgrass. And it will go dormant before ryegrasses and tall fescues.
- Expect germination in 20-25 days.
