Ingredients:
Forage Radish, Trophy Rapeseed, Appin Forage Turnip, Purple Top Turnip, Ethiopian Cabbage, Forage Collards
Notes on varieties:
– Forage Radish – widely adapted brassica known for its deep and penetrating taproots; ideal for breaking up hardpans; works well in mixes; deer like them best after a frost or freeze
– Trophy Rapeseed – short season brassica; produces a succulent leafy top growth that is highly nutritious; excellent choice for wildlife in food plot mixes; when fall planted, it provides quick emergence and produces a thick stand
– Appin Forage Turnip – bred for fast, vigorous establishment and quick maturity; firmly anchored in the ground for minimum waste; significantly higher proportion of leaf yield compared to other turnips; multi-crowned for improved re-growth potential; high leaf-to-bulb ratio; high digestibility
– Purple Top Turnip – provides both nutritious top growth as well as a large root for grazing
– Ethiopian Cabbage – part of the brassica family; excellent addition to deer plot mixes
– Forage Collards – excellent palatability; high protein; work well in multiple climates
