Notes on Turf Type Perennial Ryegrass

Newer ryegrass varieties are dark green and durable. They provide the excellent look of a well-maintained fairway on a golf course. Ryegrass varieties in Execu-Turf® are selected for enhanced gray leaf spot resistance. Ryegrass exhibits quick germination and provides quick ground cover to hold the soil. It often goes dormant after bluegrasses but before tall fescues. Ryegrass generally germinates in 7-10 days.
